PierceP Visits Adobe

PierceP here; I’ve been pretty speechless on the blog thus far; Sorry about those apples; It can be pretty hectic helping getting that new idea ball rolling; So much to accomplish and so little time makes it a challenge to speak up as much as i would like too;

With all that said allow me to tell you a little about PierceP’s week; The theme might be pizza. Yes i ate 8 slices of pizza in the last 3 days all on Adobe’s dime; I took sometime out of giving birth to avatars in order to visit the Adobe Offices in both San Fransico and San Jose; They hosted two events that perked my interest; The first one in San Franscisco was a night where they demoed some new technology like Flash Builder, Flash Catalyst, and Cold Fusion 9; Then in San Jose i attended an event where individuals had an opportunity to pitch start up ideas built on the Flash Plataform to potential investors and to the public; We really wanted to leap across the stage and express to the room our excitement over all the things you can do with avatars and the browser. However, a few weeks ago we decide it would be best to keep chugging away at making things work better so we can start servicing your avatar needs as soon as possible;

I must admit the Adobe offices were beautiful; Color me CHEEZY, but i did feel a sense of gratitude and respect for what they have accomplished as a company that allows artists like myself visualize their imaginations; The belly of my magic wand is quite an amazing place; I got a couple of pixs of my adventure before my battery died; At the bottom of the page i have a link to a vurt showing my avatar in the Adobe building . I recently added some code which allows you to bring in a photo to serve as your avatar’s bg; I think its pretty neat; Also we have been working on a super COOL tool that helps you make t-shirts and my avatar is wearing one of those in the scene; On my chest you’ll see a picture of the one and only Tuples the cat; WE LOVE YOU TUPLES; here….(note not all parts are loading..looking into it)
